These are the things that make this being I call my self. These things that hold me together, tear apart, and make me want. I am what I am. Nothing more. Nothing less. I want to know the world. I want to travel, meet people and learn their way of life. Try foods I've never tasted, do things I didn't know existed. Learn new languages and live overseas. I want to be known by others and know them. Be admired and inspire. Do something that improves the world and completes mine. I may never be able do any of these things, but I know that I will try. Given a chance, I'm going to be somebody.

"As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant."

"Let us be women who love, in spite of fear.
Let us be women who love, in spite of our stories.
Let us be women who love loudly, beautifully, Divinely.
Let us be women who love."
Idelette McVicker, excerpt from “Let Is Be Women Who Love” (via hopefisch)
"Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come."
Robert H. Schuller  (via akachristiannaa)
"In a relationship, you need somebody who’s going to call you out, not somebody who’s going to let everything slide. You need somebody who doesn’t want to live without you, but can. Not somebody that is dependent, but somebody who is stronger with you. A relationship is two people, not one."
